1. ABOUT PONT LONDON AND THIS AGREEMENT
Pont London is a licensed trading brand and forms part of the technology platform powered by Selari Private Limited (“the Platform”). Accommodation services listed and booked through the Pont London platform are provided by the relevant property operator as disclosed at the time of booking.
These General Delivery Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings made directly through the Pont London website (pontlondon.com) and constitute the entire agreement between you (the “Renter” or “you”) and Pont London in connection with your rental.
Pont London offers three categories of rental accommodation, defined as follows:
| Category | Duration | Payment Structure |
|---|---|---|
| Short-Term Rental | 1 to 90 consecutive nights | 50% deposit at booking, 50% balance before arrival |
| Medium-Term Rental | 91 to 179 consecutive nights | 50% deposit at booking, 50% balance before arrival |
| Long-Term Rental | 180 consecutive nights or more | Monthly in advance |
Short-Term and Medium-Term Rentals are provided as rental accommodation under these Terms. Long-Term Rentals are provided under a Licence to Occupy and fall outside the short-term rental provisions of applicable planning and licensing legislation governing the property. None of the above categories is offered as a tenancy.
By completing a booking through the Pont London platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. These Terms should be read alongside the Property House Rules provided at the time of booking, which form part of your agreement.
2. BOOKING PROCESS AND CONFIRMATION
A booking enquiry submitted through the Pont London platform does not constitute a confirmed booking. A binding contract is only formed when you receive a written rental confirmation from Pont London to the email address provided at the time of enquiry.
Pont London reserves the right to decline any booking request at its sole discretion without being required to provide reasons.
All renters must be 26 years of age or over at the date of check-in. The lead renter named at the time of booking (the “Lead Renter”) is responsible for ensuring compliance with this requirement and for the conduct of all members of their party throughout the stay. By exception, children under the age of 18 are permitted to stay provided they are accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian who meets the minimum age requirement of 26 years.
The maximum occupancy for each property is as stated in the property listing. Pont London reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate a booking without refund if the number of renters exceeds the stated maximum.
Assignment, subletting, or re-letting of any property is strictly prohibited. Properties may only be used for private residential accommodation purposes.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP).
Short-Term and Medium-Term Rentals (1–179 nights)
A deposit of 50% of the total booking value is required to secure your reservation and is payable at the time of rental confirmation. The remaining balance of 50% is due prior to your arrival date as confirmed in your booking documentation.
Long-Term Rentals (180 nights or more)
For Long-Term Rental bookings, accommodation charges are payable monthly in advance. The first month’s accommodation charge is due and payable prior to check-in, as confirmed in your booking documentation. Subsequent monthly payments are due on or before the first day of each calendar month of the stay, or as otherwise specified in your rental confirmation.
If any monthly payment is not received by the due date, Pont London reserves the right to terminate the booking with 7 days’ written notice, without refund of any sums already paid.
All Rentals
Payment is accepted by bank transfer or by card, processed securely through NatWest Tyl. A card processing fee applies to card payments and will be itemised clearly in your booking summary prior to completion of your booking. Bank transfer details will be provided in your rental confirmation.
Pont London reserves the right to adjust pricing in the event of a clear and demonstrable error in the advertised rate. In such circumstances you will be offered the option to proceed at the correct rate or cancel with a full refund.
4. CANCELLATION POLICY
